Instructor Bio : Nathan Wright
Hello I’m Nathan, Natural Installation Specialist and Artist. I am currently working for Simple Construct. They are a renowned natural building company, installing natural plasters and building straw straw-bale homes in Southern California for over 17 years. I have been building with earth since 2014 during my first apprenticeship with Cal- Earth Institute. There I found not only a passion for building with natural materials, but a love for how they are finished with an array of different plasters. This lead me to take courses at The Canjelo Project as well as American Clay Inc. where I witnessed more of the beautiful things one can do with render. From there I started working on multiple projects with great artists like, Sherin Guirguis in Palm Springs, to building a medicine studio dome for Lisa Starr at Bonita domes in Joshua tree CA.
It’s been an honor to work along side so many great people through years and as I start to venture into starting a business of my own ( Earth to Home) I am very excited for what is to come in the future!
