Earthen Building Workshop

Discover the art of sustainable construction in a unique hands on workshop format.  We will construct a building from the soil beneath our feet. During this workshop, you'll work alongside three expert natural builders, each bringing their own expertise and techniques to the table.

From mixing natural materials to sculpting clay plasters, you'll gain practical skills and in-depth knowledge of eco-friendly building practices. Expect to leave with not only a deeper appreciation for natural building but also the practical experience to apply these techniques in your own projects.

Together, we'll construct a beautiful, functional home that embodies the spirit of community, collaboration and environmental stewardship.

Aquarian Acres:

Earth Focused Community Cultivation

Aquarian Acres is focused on developing practical, sustainable housing and agricultural systems that are deeply rooted in the natural world. While we’re still in the early stages, our vision is clear: to create homes and communities that are resilient, affordable, and in harmony with the land. Through hands-on projects and collaborative workshops, we’re learning and evolving, and we invite you to be part of that process as pioneers in earthen-building.

We’re excited about the opportunity to build something meaningful—not just physical structures, but a community of like-minded individuals committed to learning, growing, and working together to reshape the way we live.

Workshop Bonus:

Adobe Brick Home Walkthrough

In addition to the main workshop, participants will have the unique opportunity to visit our neighboring build site, where we are currently constructing a fully-permitted adobe brick home using handmade bricks. This home will have a certificate of occupancy, setting an example of what is possible when working with natural materials. A walkthrough and Q&A session will be hosted during both weeks of the workshop, offering an in-depth look at the process and practical insights for those interested in pursuing similar projects.
